Hudson City Antiques is owned and operated by George and Sandra Baker. The business began out of George’s former home in Jersey City Heights (once known as Hudson City). The New York City location opened in 2001. George has a background in art history and is an avid collector himself. Sandra worked at Christie’s auction house before joining the shop fulltime.

Directions

By Car:
From the Lincoln Tunnel:  go to 9th Avenue and head south.  After crossing 20th street, we are on your left.

From the Holland Tunnel:  Take ‘Uptown’ exit ‘Hudson Street’ upon leaving tunnel.  Continue north on Hudson street until it becomes 8th avenue at 14th street.  Continue on  8th Avenue north to 21st street and turn left.  Make  a left onto 9th avenue, we are on the left side just after crossing 20th street.

By Subway:
C, E train to 23rd Street or 1, 9 train to 18th Street
